Our Story...

Camp Hayden was inspired by 3-yr-old Hayden Chapa. Hayden was a child with special needs from Idaho Falls, Idaho with Microlissencephaly. Knowing that his time on earth would be limited, Hayden’s parents, Kami & Jason Chapa were determined to give him every wonder-filled, childhood experience possible. And so began the story of Camp Hayden.

We provide shared, safe adventures, and active support for families to feel connected and an integral part of the memories they create at Camp Hayden. While Camp Hayden will initially focus on serving families, the long-term plan is to broaden its reach to include some of the following additional groups* : veterans . at-risk teens . seniors .
